Gross Weight: 30kg
Key features:4mm Grey Corrugated Plastic Sheets
The main body of the toilet is made from 4mm corrugated plastic as it is UV stable, meaning it can withstand most of the weather conditions its exposed too. This material is also very low maintenance, easy to clean and will provide users with privacy.
The materials we have used in our Latrine Superstructures are lightweight, making transport easy and cost effective. Often our Latrines need to be built quickly. By making them from lightweight materials, we eliminate the need to struggle whilst working in often adverse conditions.
Everyone’s needs are different which is why our Latrine can be used independently or placed next to each other to serve larger communities.
The slanted roof of this Latrine Superstructure allows for rainfall to run down the roof and away from the latrine, rather than inside it. The small gap at the top of the toilet, between the structure and the roof, is for ventilation purposes.
Security is paramount, especially in places where attacks are common, which is why the Latrine Superstructure has both internal and external locking capabilities as standard. This prevents the door from swinging open when in use and makes it easy to secure overnight.
Pressure Treated Timber
Our pressure treated timber has had non toxic treatment forced deep within the timber, helping to protect it against rot and insect infestation, ensuring your Latrine Superstructure remains strong and secure. This also helps to ease the process of importing non-indigenous timber into different countries.
